I stopped there in person, talked to salesman named Mike, very nice gentleman, we talked about trading my truck for another truck he said he would keep his eye open for what I was looking for and get back to me. I needed to get my truck serviced and I had heard a noise, possibly in the transmission, that I needed to have checked out. I called down to the service department and talked to a young lady about the warranty on my truck as I had bought it at a different dealer, she said she was going to check into it and get back to me, she never did. I called back again at a later date and spoke to yet another girl who said that she would get back to me or have someone get back to me regarding this matter, they never did. I called the service department four more times over the next couple of weeks only to have the phone picked up and hung up each time. I ended up calling the salesman Mike back who looked into it for me and said everybody denied all. To my biggest surprise I still have not heard from anyone at Glens Falls Toyota. I can only guess that Glens Falls Toyota is so wealthy they just don't need anymore business...
I haven't had to buy a car in over 8 years, and was still coming to terms with taking on a car payment again. I told this to the salesman, Joe Taylor, and he was very understanding and helpful in steering me to a vehicle that I could afford, with the features I needed. After my initial visit, Joe made a follow-up call, during which he was very courteous and not at all pushy. I was very glad that he called, because it gave me the chance to ask a few questions and schedule a test drive. I am now the happy owner of a 2012 Rav4 (and-- bonus-- I even love the color!)
PS - all of the staff, even those we were not working with, were pleasant and made us feel at home.
We loved working with Tina. She listened carefully to what we were looking for in a car and showed us lots of options. We felt comfortable and unhurried the entire time and are delighted with our purchase. Working with Ben was also great. He made a quick phone call with a question the morning we were picking up our car and when we got there everything was ready. We were surprised with how smoothly and efficiently it went.
As a first time buyer, I had a lot of questions and needed most of the purchasing process explained to me. Gabrielle was patient, informative and honest; easing most of my anxieties about making an investment in a new vehicle. Also, the dealership was very accommodating when I requested a rescheduling of the pick-up date.
After a disappointing and disrespectful experience at a different Capital District Toyota dealer, I was very impressed with my experience at Glens Falls Toyota. From the moment we met Nicole Pafundi and Tina North, we knew we had found the right place and the right people to work with to purchase two new Priuses! As women, we appreciated being treated with respect. When one of our cars arrived with an interior that we didn't realize we wouldn't like, Nicole went the extra step of personally going to pick up another vehicle for us. The entire team (Nicole, Tina and Colleen) stayed past closing time when we picked up the car because it took us longer to get there from Albany than expected. We went out of our way to buy our car at Glens Falls Toyota and we are glad we did! Nicole went out of her way to be sure that our experience was the absolute best. Thank you Nicole and Tina!
