Thank you for the response to the the previous review. I will state that the upstate and increase is that my husband went back to the market and trialed the mac and cheese and reported that he greatly enjoyed it once more. I have not been able to return since the hours are odd but maybe in the future I can try again.
Best mac & cheese in Glens Falls. I love the Paddington sandwich with off the bone chicken. Architecturally, I like the tin ceiling.
The sandwiches and potato salad were very very good. Great catering option for anyone looking to host a professional luncheon.
Friendly staff, great reasonably priced, modern food. Also a comfortable, inviting place to sit and eat. Nice "pay at the register" restaurant.
I really wanted to like this place I have trying to go there for a couple months but they have breakfast and lunch hours only. So finally able to go for lunch and I was beyond disappointed. I ordered the Paddington sandwich on GF bread and while I understand that the bread is dry the curse of the GF the chicken was also dry the sandwich was in edible even with the addition of the Mayo and onion marmalade plus mustard. The fruit cup was disappointing with the watermelon past it's prime spoiling the whole thing. But the kicker was on a cold day I wanted soup the minestrone looked good and it was GF if they didn't put the noodles in. But alas it was not to be the last bowl in the place was thus glutenized and my hope if a lovely lunch with it. The soup was at least refunded. My partner fared no better with him Mac and cheese once so good at he farmers market today did not live up to it's past glory. But his salad was okay. When returning out still full trays to the counter we we're politely thanked but when we expressed the inediblilty of the food no comment was made. There are many other options for the gluten intolerant downtown, and I would suggest exploring those.
