It has the potential to be a great place in a great area but there are many repairs that need to be made. It was very disheartening to see it in such shambles.
As a die hard sports fan from all Glens Falls teams, I love East Field. Dragons games are very fun. I like to go behind home plate and heckle Amsterdam. Went to my first Greenjackets game yesterday. Had a blast. Especially as a fan who is trying to learn more about football. Front row seasts are great for both sports, as well as after the games and/or halftime I like to get highfives from Dragons/Greenjackets players. Definitely can't wait for next year, when I can attend more games at East Field.
Could use a little up keep. Can't really see the batters from the bleacher locations. Infield could use some grass over the dirt. Seems like playing baseball on a softball field.
The playground and pavillion were well maintained. Grill and picnic table were very clean. Had a great time celebrating a special 2 year old's birthday, grilling and playing yard games. I would suggest it to anyone thinking of having a picnic with friends and family.
Awful, bleechers are dangerous, no handicap ramps to access seating, bathtooms are absolutely disgusting, visible cleaning products above food prep area...
