Went on 5cent wing night. Food was excellent but soda was $3.50 a glass and was not allowed to take leftovers.
I always have a good experiance. It's always clean and the staff is friendly. The food is good. Plenty of TVs for your favorite sports games. Prices are fair.
I've never been so humiliated and agitated in my life before as I was when I entered Dango's Sports Bar on Maple Street in Glens Falls at 6:50PM. I called and made a reservation for Wing Night at 3:00PM when they opened. I asked, "Could I please have a table for 7 and 2 children for 7:00PM?" The woman who responded to me made sure she had enough booster seats, and confirmed that it was fine to come in in time. Need I remind you, I come every other Wednesday and I ALWAYS make a reservation. So, I walk into Dango's 10 minutes early because normally it takes 10-15 to get into your table after the reservation time. The hostess explained that there were people at our table that have been there since 4:30PM. No problem. Another woman, a waitress by the name of LISA, physically got too close for comfort to me and raised her voice to me and alleged that I called 20 minutes before I came, and that they "never take reservations on Wing Night." She raised her voice and had the entire restaurant listening to the altercation. Humiliation at its finest. You think that's bad? It gets worse. My son and my nephew ordered chocolate milk and we all ordered soda. The waitress got them out to us promptly, but after my son wasn't drinking his milk, and my nephew's mother checked his milk, they were drinking spoiled, curdled milk. My son and his nephew had terrible stomach aches as soon as they got home. Also, my mother ordered hot wings that were pink on the inside. I will never go to this restaurant again, and I will be reporting this incident to the owner and taking it as far as I can.
Great sports bar. Drinks reasonable and great wings and sociable.
